The rumours are true! More and more Leprechaun Mouse sightings have been reported in the last week, and it looks like they are here to stay! What’s more, hunters can expect to see even more Leprechaun mice in the coming week, all carrying great rewards and each with a chance to win a real cash prize!

Until Wednesday, October 17, there will be more prize mice and Leprechaun mice than usual roaming the lands! When this little streak of luck is over, the Leprechaun mice and other prize mice will be harder to find, but they are here to stay!

Use common cheese (Cheddar, Brie, Gouda, SUPER|brie+, or anything not overly special, rare, or difficult to obtain) to attract a prize mouse to your trap, but be warned for they are tough and will put up a fight! If you catch a Leprechaun mouse, you have a chance at winning a real cash prize!

Mystery Pot of Gold

Every Leprechaun mouse carries with it a Mystery Pot of Gold. If you manage to attract and catch one of these elusive mice, you’ll be guaranteed this wonderful prize! What’s inside? Tons of GOLD, of course! Along with a bunch of SUPER|brie+ and some Ultimate Luck Charms.

And sometimes, at the bottom, there’s an even greater prize lying under all that gold!

Will you be one of these lucky hunters?

Hunt for prize mice with common cheese across the land NOW!

-Seasonal Garden (Gouda)

- Nerg Plains (Gouda, Swiss)

A new area has launched! Called the Slushy Shoreline!

To gain access to the area, one needs to have a minimum rank of a Lord/Lady.

To have access to the Slushy Shoreline;

Head over to the Harbour, Under “Shops” click Cartographer and buy the Icebreaker License with 145,000 gold and a requirement of 25,000,000 points.

After an hour, your Icebreaker License is ready for collection, head back to Harbour and collect it. Your map will now be updated with the Slushy Shoreline’s “location”.

There are new traps, bases, charms and mice introduced in the area.

Traps:

Steam Laser Mk. I

Bases(currently not available for purchase):

Magnet Base Blueprints
These blueprints appear to describe the construction steps for a base made from powerful electromagnets, which would be excellent for attracting metal tool-carrying Tunnel Rats.

It requires Wire Spools, chunks of Frosty Metal, pots of Heating Oil, and an intense form of energy to power it.

Remote Detonator Base Blueprints
Whoah, this looks dangerous! The device described in these blueprints looks like it could detonate nearly any explosive remotely, which would certainly help with Bomb Squad Mice.

It requires Wire Spools, chunks of Frosty Metal, pots of Heating Oil, and an intense form of energy to power it.

Spiked Base Blueprints
Icy Brutes pack a surprising punch, but the base depicted on this blueprints looks like it can neutralize their knockback.

It requires Wire Spools, chunks of Frosty Metal, pots of Heating Oil, at least 50 pieces of Splintered Wood, and an intense form of energy to power it.

Hearthstone Base Blueprints
Warmth and comfort emanate from these blueprints, so much that it makes you wonder just how warm and comforting the base you build with it must be! Certainly enough to dissuade the crazed, distress-loving Zealot mice from visiting your trap.

It requires Wire Spools, chunks of Frosty Metal, pots of Heating Oil, and an intense form of energy to power it.
Charms:
Softserve Charm:
Cost: 650 gold.
This tiny charm emanates a sweet vanilla odour that is irresistible to mice who have gotten sick of smelling stale salt air on a long ocean voyage.

When equipped on the Slushy Shoreline, more powerful mice carrying more valuable equipment will be attracted to your trap.
Wax Charm(not yet available for sale)
Snowboarders wax up their boards before hitting the slopes. Why? To go fast. And hunters who want to travel faster through the dangerous iceberg would be well-off if they equipped this charm and waxed up their bases.
Sticky Charm(not yet available for sale)
Made from a mixture of tapioca and long-lasting super glue, this charm is very tricky to handle. Touching it with bare skin adheres immediately, and it cannot be removed short of high-powered solvents.

New items introduced!

Egg Paint

Use Marshmallow Monterey to find mice carrying paint for each of the unpainted eggs. Use Dark Chocolate Charms from the Charm Shoppe in the area to attract a more sinister mouse who sometimes carries more paint.

The Golden Egg is the most-coveted of all of the Spring Eggs, so the mice won’t give up any Golden Paint until all the other paints are exhausted. The sight of that fully-painted Golden Egg is sure to attract the troublemaker responsible!

Eggscavator

We saw a mouse carrying this new egg-hunting tool, and it could prove quite useful for hunting down all of the bonus eggs! Finish painting the eggs, find the mouse responsible for all this trouble, and get that Eggscavator so you can begin your Spring Egg Hunt!  The Eggscavator keeps track of all the Spring Hunt Eggs you’ve found and provides hints for the location of other eggs! When you find an egg, visit the Special section of your inventory and feel free to smash it open!

A brand new charm!

Eggstra Charm!

The incredible magic of these charms will duplicate any bonus eggs dropped by mice, giving you TWO eggs instead of just one when used with the Eggscavator. Use Marshmallow Monterey in the Chocolate Factory Charm Shoppe to create these charms, or pickup an Egg Hunting Kit which comes with 5 charms and plenty of Marshmallow Monterey. After the Spring Egg Hunt is over, any eggcess Eggstra Charms can be smashed with your Hunter’s Hammer to create Dark Chocolate Charms.

New baskets!

Spring Gift Basket

This gift basket is filled with yummy goodies to help you during the Spring Egg Hunt! Inside you’ll find 80 Marshmallow Monterey and 20 Dark Chocolate Charms. It also provides the Lucky Golden Shield for 1 month when opened. Buy one and give it to a friend!

This eggy kit is choco-full with tons of eggy goodness to really help you during the Spring Egg Hunt! Inside you’ll find 200 Marshmallow Monterey, 100 Dark Chocolate Charms, and 5 Eggstra Charms, which give you TWO eggs instead of just one when used with the Eggscavator.

Major Glitch

On Wednesday, March 7th, 2012, at around 2PM(+8 GMT) gifts were “given” out to all hunters when they access their Camp or any page on MouseHunt;

With the initial contents of the DLU Box being; 10 SUPER|brie+, 25 King’s Credits, 1 DLU+ and 1 Fancy Confetti!;

However, shortly after the DLU Box was given out, many hunters reported that their ranks revered back to a Novice rank. The game was brought down to try to fix this problem.

Unfortunately, the Developers announced that they have no choice but to do a full rollback of the game, anything done “in game” between 12am GMT to 6am GMT was restored to the state they were at 12am GMT. Which include the whole of CorkBoard being cleared.

As part of the “compensation, SUPER|brie+ in the DLU Box has been increased from the initial 10 to 50.”; with the event extended till Monday, March 11th, 2012.]

Tarnished Charm >

Cost: 1,000 gold

( 0 Power )

Power Bonus: none

Attraction Bonus: none

Luck: none

( 300 Power )

Power Bonus: 10%

Attraction Bonus: none

Luck: 4

( 300 Power )

Cheese Effect: Stale

The Warpath Thrasher, often referred to as the “angry flailing croissant”, is as dangerous as it is weird looking. Designed to take on the army of the Marching Flame, this trap barrels into the waves, daring to take them all on at once.      This trap is extremely powerful at the beginning of each wave, boasting an impressive 9000 power and 30 luck, however; it begins to rapidly lose power after the initial onslaught.

(6,000 Physical Power )

Power type: Physical
